Hi, I’m James Tortorici, and I’m grateful to be a dorm parent here at HCS. My role allows me to be involved in the day-to-day lives of the boys, helping create a supportive and creative space for them to grow. Before joining HCS, I worked as a behavioral therapist, which gave me valuable experience in understanding and supporting students in unique ways. I studied English in college, and my love for literature and storytelling continues to inspire the work I do here.
One of my favorite parts of being on campus is leading tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons. These sessions are a great way to foster creativity and imagination, and it’s always rewarding to see the boys come together and express themselves through storytelling and teamwork. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our pets, as well as gaming whenever I get the chance.
