My name is Marilee Emerson. I joined the HCS faculty in 2023 and am so happy to be here. I serve as a resource for the academic team, residential life, and administration. I am a lifelong educator, graduating from the University of Florida with undergraduate and graduate degrees in Special Education. After years of teaching in various school and clinical settings, I stepped out of the classroom to help lead the University of Central Florida Center for Autism & Related Disabilities, where I had the honor of supporting thousands of individuals and their families, teachers, and employers. Since my tenure at UCF, I continue supporting students with complex needs in creative and collaborative ways. And that’s what brought me to a country school in New Hampshire. I am a teacher’s teacher, relationship builder, designer of educational environments, problem solver, collaborator, and advocate. I match teaching methodologies to individuals, identify meaningful classroom supports, and provide perspective. |
