My name is Jacob Edwards. I am the Academic Director at Hampshire Country School. I also currently teach many of our History and Language Arts courses. For the 2024-2025 school year, I am serving as the Interim Residential Life Director and Activities Coordinator. This school year marks my 6th at HCS. I was born in California, spent my middle school years in North Carolina, and attended a Quaker boarding school in Iowa. Over these years, I got to experience public, private, home and boarding school life. None of them came close to providing the self-paced and individualized curriculum that HCS has to offer. I attended the University of Iowa where I earned a bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science. While in my senior year of college, I served as the Head Boy’s Dorm Parent at Scattergood Friends School. I moved to HCS in 2019 and have spent the last few years sharing my love of Shakespeare, baking, political ideologies, and travel with the boys. |
